Who Are We?

NeXuS

I've been going by the alias of NeXuS for years. It is of course in reference to the amazing sci-fi movie Blade Runner, directed by Ridley Scott, but my actual name is Jonathan. I've been tweaking the iOS for a few years now, starting with a 3G, coming from a Motorola Razr (what a change). I can't seem to leave things alone, especially when a corporation trys to dictate how I'll use their products after purchasing them. I've jailbroken and modified nearly every electronic device I've ever owned, so long as it has a operating system. I have a iPhone 4 currently, a old iPod Video 5th generation running RockBox, my Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable are both jailbroken with custom firmware, my PC's have modified versions of Windows 7 and dual boot with Ubuntu. I just love finding ways to change a device and make it perform at its maximum potential.

I decided to make this blog mainly to keep track of my findings and stuff I like for future reference but I do hope it helps people in their quest to modify and create a more personal iOS user experience.

Thank you for reading my blog, if you find my information useful please click a ad. It doesn't pay much but in a year maybe I could buy a hamburger or something.

Andrzej

My friend from Poland, he's just as irritated as I am with Apples obsessive need to dictate our devices usage. So he's teamed up with me to create and maintain DiA. Without his help, you (the reader) would only have a list of files to manually delete using iFile. He's the brains behind DiA, so if you wouldn't mind, consider donating to him to show your thanks (and maybe click a ad here on the blog to support me, too).
